  Tips for how to improve your English during the summer 

1. Listen to music – sometimes reading the lyrics may help you understand the song.

2. Watch movies, cartoons, and stories - Watch with subtitles.

3. Talk and record yourself - This may sound funny, but it will help you.

4. Talk to your classmates in English when you are in class.

5. Read books in English and short texts on the web- try to start with easy books, even children’s books and comics.

6. Change the operating system of your mobile phone, your PC or tablet into English - it will improve your vocabulary.

7. Write down words that describe your feelings – write a diary.

8. Write comments in English blogs.

9.  Use the flashcards to memorize the new words – stick the new words on the door/ somewhere you can easily see it.

10. Write a message or letter to your friend in English – start with short sentences
