Sea Stars

Starfish
Sea stars are commonly known as starfish. Starfish can live to be 35 years old. Starfish eat, sleep and move around rocks or on the ocean floor. Starfish have no brain and no blood. Starfish are easy to recognize because they look like starts. There are over 2000 different colors, shapes and sizes.They don't have eyes like as, they have an eye spot at the end of each arm. If you look closely you might see a tiny red spot this is the eye. Some starfish have 10 or 20 arms. The sun starfish has up to 40 arms.
